Then we went to a Birthday/Halloween party. Delaney loves I Love Lucy to the point that she has the DVD boxed sets. So her costume was perfect for her and I thought it was hilarious!!

Finally we are confusing Ella Blaire well Mark is he should just let her be smart like her mom and go for Auburn!! That's right Dustin not everybody is as smart as me!!!

Dinner By Chef Steadman

Tonight we had dinner with some of our close friends Mindy and Steadman. We are soooo happy for them they are having a great time with each other and are really happy! They are two people who both deserve to be very happy!!

Anyway Steadman picked up Olive Garden salad and made homemade spaghetti. (Yes Marty and Melia he actually cooked it himself :) Then he made a cream cheese danish desert with cinnamon on top. Let's just say I was down almost 10lbs this morning and I feel like I'm up about 5 tonight! It was really good so Thanks Steadman!!!

Happy 30th Birthday to Me!!!

I guess I've always been so much younger than Mark and a lot of our friends I just always saw 30 as forever away and never thought I would get there. GUESS WHAT..... it catches you eventually! But fortunately my AWESOME friends made it easier and fun with a Surprise Party at Logan's Thursday night! I got some great gifts and money and most important I got to be with everybody and that's something we don't get to do a lot now a days! My friends are the best they spread the word that Mark was taking me shopping and they gave me money with cards that said have fun shopping and I even got a new purse to take with me which I did!

Then on Friday my actual birthday Mark took off and spent the day with me. We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel then went to the Home Goods store in Birmingham on to The Summit to shop and to Cheesecake Factory!!!! Hello what makes you feel better about turning 30 than Red Velvet Cheesecake?!?! It was a great day.

Thank you to my wonderful friends I don't know what I would do without all of you. Thank you to my wonderful husband who is my Best Friend! All of you made this my best birthday ever and I really needed it with everything we have going on now. I love all of you!

What a Good Patient

Ella Blaire got a doctors kit for her birthday needles to say she sees a lot of nursing going on around here. Look at her very cooperative patient....Too Cute! This would be one of those blessings I was talking about.

Quick Party Pic Weekend Post

Here are a few pictures from Ella Blaire's party we had it at Kid's Space Palace and the kids had a lot of fun. Well this is proving to be a long end to a busy week. I am last minute which is not me trying to pull things together for Ella Blaire's birthday party and pictures. Mark and I went and bought her presents tonight. The thing is we don't get to get out of the house together to much so when we do we have a long list of things to get done so it is RUSH RUSH and usually not everything is done. But all of these are things that will be OK and if they get done great and if they don't Guess What we will be alright

My grandfather has had a tough time this week. It is starting to come down to us having to make some decisions and sometimes there just are no easy answers. That's one of the things about caring for someone you worry that you will do what is best for them. Sometimes the choices you have are not something good and something bad to choose between. Sometimes it is this would be bad or this would be not as bad and better for them... Now choose. Neither is something you want to pick.

But back to the blessing part of caring for him. When times get rough like they have this week and we all stress out Mark and I pull closer together. Things that we would normally say to each other that would make each other upset we just say and look at each other and smile. It's called teamwork and I am glad he is on my team. People will never know how much he has done and he wouldn't want them to. But to me everything he does for my grandparents just shows how much he loves me. And for that I am thankful!!!

O.K. I guess I am a long poster... This blog thing could get me in trouble I am not a private person my life is an open book so I will have to be careful not to get to carried away on here. I will post again soon with Ella Blaire's birthday pics.

Maybe I Will Actually Post Something!

I have had this blog for almost a year now and have done one post when I started it but today I thought why not. For anybody out ther who might need to be caught up on our oh soooo exciting life here it goes.... Mark and I pretty much the same only a little more stressed and older. Delaney just turned 10 0n the 15th and Ella Blaire will be 2 on the 21st. Never wanted my kids birthdays close together but when they are 8 yrs. apart you really don't get as picky as to choose what month the 2nd one is born in. But 2 parties and gifts a week apart...Wheew! About 5 months ago my grandparents moved in with us he is very sick and disabled. I will not say it is easy by any means but I will say it has huge blessings that come with them being here every day. I am so thankful my kids get to be around them so much. And I am so thankful the lord gave me a good husband who is willing to do everything for them.
That pretty much catches you up. I'm gonna try this posting thing and we will see how it goes!?!
