I guess I've always been so much younger than Mark and a lot of our friends I just always saw 30 as forever away and never thought I would get there. GUESS WHAT..... it catches you eventually! But fortunately my AWESOME friends made it easier and fun with a Surprise Party at Logan's Thursday night! I got some great gifts and money and most important I got to be with everybody and that's something we don't get to do a lot now a days! My friends are the best they spread the word that Mark was taking me shopping and they gave me money with cards that said have fun shopping and I even got a new purse to take with me which I did!
Then on Friday my actual birthday Mark took off and spent the day with me. We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel then went to the Home Goods store in Birmingham on to The Summit to shop and to Cheesecake Factory!!!! Hello what makes you feel better about turning 30 than Red Velvet Cheesecake?!?! It was a great day.
Thank you to my wonderful friends I don't know what I would do without all of you. Thank you to my wonderful husband who is my Best Friend! All of you made this my best birthday ever and I really needed it with everything we have going on now. I love all of you!
2 more years ppl - get the planning started!! Cause according to Joe it will be horrible when I turn 30! LOL

ReplyDeleteAww...that's so sweet...but I think you may need to revise that being your best birthday ever and flash back to "The Olive Garden"!!!!! Yes, this was the year that Lin probably turned 10 and we had them sing to her at the Olive Garden. She was so embarrassed that she slide under the booths table crying!!! One of the best memories of my childhood!!! Just kidding! You know I love you Lin!
